What You Need to Know
It is possible to block reservations for a given period or a specific date. Use the "Closing Period" setting for this.
This allows you to manage the periods when you do not wish to accept reservations, such as during a closure or special events.
A closing period will close all services on a given date. If you only wish to close one service for the day, use the "Show Full" option.
1. Close Reservations from the Web Application

Log in to your Zenchef account.

Go to the Settings tab, then select Service & Reservation, followed by Services and Experiences, and finally Closing Periods.

Click on the New Closing Period button.

Provide a name for the closing period (not visible to your clients).

Choose the period or date to block.

Optional: Add an informational message for your clients.

Save. Your services are now unavailable for reservations.

Open the Zenchef app on your device.

Go to the Settings tab, then select Reservations and Closing Periods.

I created a closing period while I already have reservations scheduled. Will they be automatically canceled?
No, these reservations will not be automatically canceled by the software. If you cannot accommodate these clients, you will need to cancel their reservations manually. -
Can I block recurring periods?
Currently, it is only possible to block specific dates one at a time. Recurring periods need to be entered manually each time.
