To create and send a newsletter, click ZENMARKETING > Newsletters on your dashboard.
Click Create a newsletter, Templates, and select a layout from the drop-down menu. You can also choose the colors of the email you are planning to send.
Once you’ve chosen the structure and colors of the email, on the right side click Content. Delete the text by default and enter your own text.
WARNING: do not use emojis. They are not compatible with our product.
At the bottom of the page, you can add some photos by clicking the camera icon.
The Preview button will display the mock-up of the email you are planning to send.
If you are ready to send the newsletter, click Next step at the top right of the page and select the recipients list to which you want to send it.
- You can "Send a test" to your restaurant's email address.
- Then select the list of recipients you wish to send your message to. If you have a file of customers who have booked via Zenchef, this file will be proposed to you automatically.
If the email is incomplete and if you want to complete it later, you can save the work done by clicking Save at the top left. You will be able to access your draft by going to the Newsletter section.
Once the email has been created, the template chosen, the content written and the list of recipients selected, all that's left to do is send your newsletter.
Of course, you can decide at any time to keep it in your drafts for sending at a later date.
Otherwise, all you need to do is fill in :
- The reply e-mail, which customers can write to if they need to.
- The subject of the e-mails sent
- The date sent:
- Now
- Schedule campaign on
Then click the "SAVE AND SEND" button.
Warning: Avoid using characters in the title and content of your newsletters that could cause them to be spammed more easily (emojis, GIFs, etc.).
Once your newsletter / email campaign has been sent, you will be able to find it in the list of newsletters on the main page.
For each newsletter you will have a visual of the penetration rate and the success of the sending with:
- The date sent
- The number of emails sent
- The number of errors (incorrect email, customer mailbox full, etc.)
- The number of emails opened
- The number of emails for which the customer clicked on the link
