Four steps are essential for setting up the credit card deposit:
1️⃣ Create an account on Stripe
The information required to create a Stripe account are as follows:
- your business registration number (SIREN)
- your VAT number
- your social security number
- your IBAN
- website
- personal information
- business address
2️⃣ Connect your Stripe account to your restaurant
Go to the Settings section ⚙️ at the top of your dashboard by clicking on the name of your establishment, then click on the Payments tab, then Stripe.
3️⃣ Define the default settings for the credit card deposit
- Specify the amount to request per pax🍴💸 (choose carefully as you will not be able to change it at the time of withdrawal) out of shift :
- Indicate the deadline within which you allow your customers to cancel a reservation with a credit card deposit:
