Zone Soft reservation list
A reservation list is available through a function called “Reservas Online” which can be added to
the “Options” menu or as a function button on the customizable front office.
This function will show a reservation list collected from the ZenChef API.
Opening a table for a reservation
When the POS operator opens a table for a guest, Zone Soft checks for reservations which are
supposed to arrive at that time for the selected table. If Zone Soft finds a reservation for the selected table, Zone Soft will ask the operator for confirmation before mapping the table to this reservation.
Multiple reservations for the same time frame
If there are multiple reservations for the same time frame without a defined table, when the operator opens a new table, he can select a reservation from the list of reservations that match the time frame or can create a new walk-in reservation. If there are no reservations for the time frame, a walk-in is automatically created.
Open table without reservation (walk-In)
If an operator opens a table and there are no reservations matching the time frame or he does
not select any of the available reservations, a walk-in reservation will be created on ZenChef.
Close a reservation
When the order is closed on the POS and the invoice is issued, Zone Soft will update the status of the reservation to finished and send the invoice details.
Please note: The “Receipt Details” will only be visible on the reservation detail if the merchant has connected the app.
How do I set up the integration with Zone Soft?
Make sure that the tables in Zenchef and Zone Soft have the same descriptions.
Zenchef
Contact Zenchef so an API user can be created for the integration. Zenchef will have to provide the AUTH token of this user and your Zenchef restaurantId.
