STEPS FOR CREATING A MENU:
- Go to Settings > Bookings > Management/Staff > Digital Menus (at the bottom of the list), or click here
- Click on New digital menu
- Enter a name. For example, Restaurant Menu or if you have multiple menus based on the service, Lunch Menu, Dinner Menu, etc.
- Choose a type from
*Zensite Menu : if you have a website created via Zenchef, the menu will be associated with your website's menu and the customer will be redirected to the Menu & Menus page of your site
**Custom Link : if you have an internal website not created by Zenchef or a digital menu provided by another service, enter the link to which you want to redirect your customers
***File : you can add a file (PDF), for example, the menu that you usually print (and update it if necessary by downloading the latest version of your menu)

- Click on "Create"
- Repeat the process for each menu you want to digitize
Steps for retrieving QR Codes:
On the page that displays the list of menus, you have two options:
- The QR Code button at the top next to the "Digital Menus" title: If you have multiple menus but only want one QR Code to print, use this button. This QR code will redirect your customers to all the created digital menus. This link is permanent and unique to your restaurant. It will never change.
- The QR Code button on the right of each digital menu line: This QR code will redirect your customers to the respective menu. Obviously, if you delete the digital menu, the QR Code won't work anymore, but as long as the digital menu exists, the QR Code will be valid.
- Once you have chosen the QR Code, printing is offered to you. The default format is A5, for a display stand. The print window opens by default and therefore offers to print two QR Codes per page.
- If you close the print window, you have the option to get the QR Code image (right-click on the image at the top, "Save image as". You can then create your own composition using this image.
ASSOCIATE A DIGITAL MENU WITH A SERVICE :
- Go to the list of your services in Settings > Bookings > Stock management > shift (or shift exceptions) or click here.
- Click on a service to modify it.
- On the "Shift menu" line, choose from the list the digital menu you wish to associate with this service.
- Save
SEND THE SERVICE CARD TO YOUR CUSTOMERS :
- On the list of your bookings (access it by clicking on Zenbook at the top)
- Click on the status of a booking, then choose the action: Send shift menu :
The reservation customer will receive an email containing a link to the digital menu associated with the reservation service (provided that an email address is associated with the reservation).
If you wish to activate the sending of the card by SMS, go to your notification settings (Settings > Notifications > Customers > SMS > Digital menu) and activate the associated option.
Once the menu has been sent, an icon will appear on the reservation to let you know that the action has already been taken.
