In order to open, modify, or exceptionally close a Click & Collect service, go to the Settings at the top right of your space, then go to the Click & Collect tab and Shift Exceptions which is located in the left column.
1. Create a new service exception by clicking on
2. Choose the exception name (visible only from your account), and the period during which this exception will be active.
3. Add a message that will be visible in the Click & Collect module during the chosen period.
4. Determine the active services during the period.
- To modify an existing service, click on it and you will be able to change the number of orders, the period open for order collections, or the request for pre-payment.
- To close a service during the defined period, click on the cross located at the bottom right.
Attention: You cannot close all services using this function. - To open an exceptional service, click on Add a service. You will be able to choose whether you want to create a new service from scratch or start with an existing service and modify its settings.
Example:
You plan to open special order collections for the end-of-year holidays.
- Create the exception.
- Choose a name.
- Set the active period.
- Insert a message visible in the module by clicking on one of the days within the period, if desired.
- Add or modify a service. By default, it will be active during the selected period.
- Define the settings for the exceptional service.
- Click Save and then Create Exception.
If your menu offering is different for this exceptional service, you will need to:
- Option 1: on the dish you wish to offer, activate the exceptional service in the settings of takeaway food
- Option 2: In the settings of Menus, choose to limit the dedicated menu to a specific sales period on your Click & Collect module:

🚨 ATTENTION 🚨: If you are using Google Reserve with Zenchef, opening a service exception during a normally closed period will not allow for reservation through Google Reserve if the period is indicated as closed on your Google My Business listing. You will also need to open the period in your Google My Business space.
