Suggested Restaurants

You own multiple restaurants and want to encourage your customers to book at another restaurant if one of your restaurants is full? The restaurant suggestion feature is made for you!

This functionality allows a group of restaurants to propose the availability of another restaurant in the same group if the reservation module of one establishment is unavailable. To take advantage of this, your establishments must be grouped together to share customer information and avoid duplicates. If this is not the case, please contact your account manager or our support team to group your establishments into a single group.

Please note that if you have subscribed to the ZenMarketing option to send email newsletters and/or SMS campaigns, the distribution lists will be extracted from the common customer file of your group.

What does restaurant suggestion consist of?

This feature allows a group of restaurants to offer the end customer the availability of one or more other restaurants in the same group, when the reservation module of one establishment is unavailable for a given service or date and for the desired number of seats.

The reservation thus created will be identified as originating from the initial restaurant through the "prescriptors" system.

How does this appear on my booking module?

If a service or date is unavailable, and for the desired number of seats, your module will offer your customers the possibility to check availability in your other restaurants.

Examples of visualization:

By clicking on the button, the widget will automatically display the reservation modules of the other restaurants in the group that have availability on a common time slot with the initial restaurant's service.

*If there is still space on the waiting list for the service, it will not be considered full and the restaurant suggestion will not be available.

How do I configure restaurant suggestion?

• The "SUGGESTED RESTAURANTS" section includes the establishments of the group that will be suggested in case of unavailability.
• The "NON-SUGGESTED RESTAURANTS" section includes the establishments of the group that will NOT be suggested in case of unavailability.

Click on the ✚ next to a non-suggested establishment to drag it to the right in the section of suggested restaurants.

Click on the − next to a suggested establishment to drag it to the left in the section of non-suggested restaurants.

To change the order, drag the restaurants while holding down their name.

The order (from top to bottom) will be respected when suggesting the establishments.
