What you need to know

The ZenchefOS booking module offers a dynamic, modern and efficient interface, facilitating the conversion of your visitors into customers.
The booking module integrates via an SDK script or a URL.

1. Installing the booking module on your Zenchef website (Zensite).

You don’t need to do anything, the booking module is automatically integrated into your Zenchef website.
You can temporarily hide your module if you wish by unchecking the "Enable widgets" box in the Integration tab of the settings.

2. Installing the booking module on your own website.

(If your site is built on WIX, please follow this procedure)

To integrate the booking button on your website, follow these steps:

  • Retrieve the script for your booking module from your Zenchef interface

  • Make sure to check the "Enable widget" button

  • Paste the tag into every page of your site, as low as possible within the <body> element. Ensure you add only one Zenchef tag per page.

  • If you want to open the booking widget via a customised button on your website, follow the steps below:

→ To trigger an action on the SDK when a user clicks an element, simply add a data-zc-action attribute to the element.

List of events:
open: Opens the booking module
close: Closes the booking module

Examples:

<button data-zc-action="open">Open widget</button>
<button data-zc-action="close">Close widget</button>

If your website is with WIX:

WIX offers a different way to implement this type of widget. To do so, please follow these steps:

  • Make sure to check the "Enable widget" button

  • Log in to your WIX account

  • Click on "Custom Code"

  • Click on "Add Code" in the Body - End section

  • Add your booking module script then click "Apply"

  • Then remove the old booking module.

  • That’s it! Your website now features the brand new Zenchef booking module.
