What you need to know
Events let you highlight news or special happenings (theme nights, special services, promotions, etc.) directly on your Zenchef site. They appear in a dedicated “Event” tab. You can add an image, description, validity period, price, or external link. The event can be temporary or permanent, and it can remain visible even after its end date.
1. Create a new event on your Zenchef website

Click “Create an event”

Enter your event’s name, for example: “Music Festival Concert Night”

Then fill in the following details: - a description - an illustration (photo or image) - the event’s start and end dates - recurrence (i.e., whether the event is one-off or recurring) - whether it should be displayed after the event ends - a price and a redirect link to another website.

Save
Your event is automatically published in the “Event” tab on your Zenchef website. Note: this tab only appears if you have created and activated events.
2. Edit a published event on your Zenchef website

Click the “Edit” button next to the event you want to update.

Make the necessary changes (name, date, description, etc.)

Save at the bottom of the page.

The updated information will be visible on your website within a few minutes.
Note: You can also find past events to edit and, for example, add a new date.

You don’t see the event on your site. Make sure your event is saved and check the associated dates. If you just created it, wait a few minutes and refresh your website page.

You want to reuse a past event. Edit the dates and information for the old event, then republish it.

How do I delete an event? Go to the Events section and click the “Delete” icon.

Can my customers book this event? The “Event” tab is for announcing highlights. If you want these events to be bookable, you need to set them up directly in the “Service & Reservation” tab. Create a special service and/or experience.
