Marketing Suite: Contact Lists
With this latest update, the Marketing Suite now has a "Lists" page that replaces the previous "Recipient Lists" section. This new page displays subscribers to your Zenchef website newsletter and allows you to import contact lists via CSV files. You can now import and manage your own contact lists for more precise audience targeting in your marketing campaigns.
1. Import a contact list
To import your contact list, follow these steps:
-
Upload your CSV file
Click ‘Import contacts’ and select your CSV file to import. Make sure your CSV file meets the requirements, which you can check here: CSV Import Guidelines.
-
Match the fields
After uploading the file, match the fields in your CSV to ensure the data lines up correctly (for example, matching email addresses, phone numbers, names).
-
Confirm consent for data use
Make sure your contacts have consented to the collection and use of their personal data. This is essential to comply with data privacy regulations.
-
Check for errors
Zenchef will automatically check your CSV file for errors, such as invalid email addresses, phone numbers, or duplicates. Only valid contacts will be imported into your list.
-
Confirm and finish
Once everything is correctly mapped and checked, confirm the import. Your contact list will be ready to use in your campaigns.
2. Use imported lists in your campaigns
Once your contacts are successfully imported, you can use them in the following types of campaigns:
-
SMS Campaigns: Use the imported lists as audiences for your SMS campaigns.
-
Email Campaigns: Likewise, you can use the imported lists for your email campaigns.
