What You Need to Know

In your Zenchef space, "Services" allow you to configure the periods during which your customers can book a table. Each service (e.g., lunch or dinner) has specific hours that you can modify according to your needs.

 

1. Making Changes from a Computer

Access your settings to adjust service hours or booking days.

  • Log in to your Zenchef account.
  • Click on the Settings tab at the bottom left.
  • In the Services & Reservations section, select Services.
  • In the services table, click on the service you want to modify (e.g., "Lunch").
  • A dedicated window for this service will open. The first tab allows you to modify the service name, opening days, and bookable hours. Adjust these booking details as needed.
  • Click "Save and Close". If you want to modify additional service details, click Next.

    Note: Using this method, you can also adjust the number of seats available for each service.

 

2. Making Changes from the Zenchef IOS App


You can also modify your services from your iOS phone or tablet.

  • Log in to your Zenchef app.
  • Click on the dropdown menu at the top left of the screen.
  • In Settings, select Reservations, then Service Types.
  • Your services will now appear on the screen. Click on the one you want to modify (e.g., "Lunch").
  • Modify the necessary details. This page allows you to update the service name, opening days, and bookable hours. Adjust these booking details as needed.
  • Click "Save" at the bottom right of the page.

    Ensure that you have saved your changes and then refresh the page.

  • How do I modify hours only for specific days?
    If certain days of the week have different hours, create a specific service for those days by duplicating the existing service and adjusting the relevant days. If it applies to only specific dates (e.g., New Year's Eve), create a Service Exception instead.
  • Where can I manage the opening hours displayed on my Zenchef website?
    The visible opening hours on your website can be modified in the General Information section of your settings.
