What is Yeat?

Yeat was created by restaurant owners for restaurant owners.
The idea arose by the co-founders Patrick De Langhe, Owner of Boo Raan (Knokke-Heist, Belgium) and Lore Aerts, responsible for reservations. After several last-minute cancellations and a few no-shows happened in Boo Raan, they wanted to create a solution when a last-minute cancelation or a no show occurred. Then the idea of Yeat was born.
Why is an integration with Yeat important?
Yeat allows the restaurant to fill all the last-minute cancelled tables or tables that have become available due to a no-show.
What does the integration with Yeat include?
Yeat is able to retrieve last minute reservations from Zenchef restaurants and display them in their B2C application. There, last minute reservations can be made. Afterwards, the booked reservations also become visible in Zenchef.
Disclaimer
- Zenchef customer has to have tag management feature enabled.
- Tables with last-minute reservations on them will no longer be available in Zenchef's online widget.
- If a last minute reservation was canceled via the Yeat platform, a new last minute must be created.
- It’s not possible to display the last minutes in a separate section of the widget as was the case at Resengo.
How do I set up the integration with Yeat?
- Contact Yeat via info@yeatapp.com and provide them your Zenchef RestaurantId. This Id can be found via https://app.zenchef.com/zw#/parameters/partners.
- After receiving confirmation from Yeat that the integration was converted from Resengo, Formitable or Tablebooker to Zenchef, activate the integration in your Zenchef environment, go through settings to the partners tab. Click the connect button next to 'Yeat'.
How to create a last minute?
Create a new reservation on the desired table for the desired number of persons and arrival time.
Use lastminute as last name and assign the reservation tag ‘lastminute’ to the reservation.
