Why is an integration with Trivec important?

With the link between Trivec and Zenchef, reservations management runs synchronously.

What does the integration with Trivec include?

The TRIVEC - Zenchef integration allows the restaurateur to automatically update reservation statuses (seated, finished) and retrieve details and the amount of the order/bill on the reservation and guest profile.

  • If a bill is opened on a table in Trivec, the reservation on the same table in Zenchef will be marked as ‘seated’.
  • If a reservation is marked as ‘seated’ or ‘arrived in Zenchef, a bill will be opened on the same table number in Trivec.
  • If a bill is opened on a table in Trivec, and there is no reservation on the table in Zenchef a walk-in will be created in Zenchef.
  • If a walk-in is created on Zenchef, a bill will be opened on the same table number in Trivec.
  • If a bill is paid in Trivec, the reservation on the same table in Zenchef will be marked as ‘finished’ and Zenchef will retrieve the order items of the bill and calculate an average spend for the guest.

Zenchef Pay

  • If a table is activated and the articles are sent on Trivec the bill we be retrieved on Zenchef Pay.
  • If a table is payed via Zenchef Pay the table will be billed on Trivec.

Disclaimer

The synchronization is not a real time synch. It takes a few minutes for the opening of a table on Trivec to trigger the seated status on a reservation placed on the same table on Zenchef or the creation of a walk-in in Zenchef if a bill has been opened on Trivec.

How do I set up the integration with Trivec?

To make the integration work properly it is very important that the tables in Trivec and Zenchef have the same description.

 

Trivec

Get in touch with your point of contact at Trivec and ask them to activate the integration with Zenchef.  Trivec needs to provide us following information:

Zenchef

You can activate the integration with Trivec in your Zenchef environment via settings and the partner tab. You will find the partner under the category 'Point of sales'. Click on the connect button next to the partner and add the credentials retrieved from Trivec.

Zenchef Pay

For Zenchef Pay to be set up, contact Trivec. If everything has been set up properly on the end of Trivec, contact the Zenchef.
