As a restaurant, it’s crucial not to miss important information—especially notifications that are urgent, time-sensitive, or essential to daily operations. With the Notifications feature, you can decide which alerts you want to receive and through which channels. You can also customize the default recipients for both SMS and email notifications.
Where to find Notifications?
You can find the notification settings under Settings > General & Team > Notifications. Here, you can configure notifications for Reservations & Revenue and Other.
For each type of notification, you can choose one or more of the following channels:

Popup (in-app)

Push (mobile or tablet)
-
Email
-
SMS
Adjusting recipients
You can change the recipients for SMS and email notifications:

SMS: Add your phone number to receive SMS notifications. The cost per SMS is displayed when entering the number.

Email: You can add multiple email addresses for email notifications. It’s also possible to assign a different address for each category.
Good to know:

Settings are saved automatically—no manual saving required.
-
At least one email address per category is mandatory.

Only one SMS recipient can be set.
Known issues and limitations:

SMS notifications come with additional costs (shown when entering the number).

Push notifications require the Zenchef app installed on your mobile or tablet.
-
Email delivery might be delayed depending on the recipient's email provider.
