Why is an integration with Asterio important?
Zenchef and Asterio have integrated to allow restaurateurs to centralize their actions and customer information, freeing up time for their core business.
What does the integration with Asterio include?
Reservations
- 1 way synchronisation of reservations from Zenchef to Asterio.
- Zenchef reservations are automatically visible in Asterio.
Synced information
- Basic reservation information: date, arrival time, guest, number of persons
- Origin of the reservation
- Reconciliation with existing customer Cardex
- Notes
- Pre payments that will automatically be deducted from the bill
- Table assignment in Zenchef for information purposes only. There is no automatic assignment to the same table in Asterio.
Status updates
- Seated: when the guest has arrived
- Finished: when the guest has paid the bill and left the restaurant
- No-Show: when the guest didn’t show up
Disclaimer
- Changes made for reservations in Asterio or reservation made directly via Asterio are not synchronised with Zenchef.
- The restaurant must be subscriped to the Reservation Book option within the Asterio subscription.
How do I set up the integration with Asterio?
To make the integration work properly it is very important that the tables in Asterio and Zenchef have the same description.
Asterio
- Contact your Asterio account manager or support, and request the Asterio x Zenchef integration.
- Asterio will get in touch with the restaurant and will discuss when you want the integration to be set up. Asterio will take care of the configuration.
Zenchef
If everything has been set up on the end of Asterio you can activate the integration with Asterio in your Zenchef environment via settings and the partner tab. You will find the partner under the category 'POS'. Click on the connect button next to the partner. The partner will be able to retrieve the information of the restaurant.
