What does the integration with Bookline include?
Once connected to Zenchef’s API, Bookline is able to:
- Check availability in real time
- Register, modify, and cancel reservations
- Reservations by area/zone
- Greet customers by name
- Reservations with cancellation policy. A WhatsApp message is sent with a link to complete the reservation on the website, but most fields are already filled in: name, phone number, number of guests, date, and time

- Cross-selling between venues
- Custom questions
- Group reservation requests. If the number of guests exceeds the limit allowed by the widget, Bookline offers an alternative solution. Outside the booking engine, an email is sent to the restaurant with all the reservation details
Example use case: A guest calls at 11 PM asking for a table the next day at 8 PM. Bookline answers, checks availability, books the table in Zenchef, and sends a confirmation WhatsApp Message to the guest, no manual work needed.
Reservations made via Bookline are labeled in your Zenchef back office, so you can monitor the performance of this channel and optimize accordingly.

How do I set up the integration with Bookline?
You can activate the integration with Bookline in your Zenchef environment via settings and the partner tab. You will find the partner under the category 'Reservation services'.
- Click on the connect button next to the partner. The partner will be able to retrieve the information of the restaurant.
- Inform your point of contact at Bookline to configure the integration on the end of Bookline.
