Why this Weather Widget?
To celebrate the Summer Solstice, a time when terraces are at their busiest, we’ve added a simple yet powerful new feature: the day’s weather is now displayed directly on your Zenchef dashboard.
This helps you adapt your daily operations quickly and efficiently:
- Every morning, you get an instant view of the weather conditions.
- You can adjust your dining room and terrace setup based on the forecast.
Where to find the weather?
Access your dashboard by clicking here.
The weather widget appears at the top of the page, next to your usual performance indicators.
It displays:
- The current weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy…)
- The temperature
- The location of your establishment
Adjust your layout based on the weather
You can open or close your terrace in just a few clicks, depending on the day’s weather—whether it's a regular shift or an exceptional one.
To do this, go to your service' settings.
Or use the search bar:
Click the magnifying glass at the top left of your screen and type:
“shift” or “shift exception”
This lets you disable or adjust terrace availability based on the forecast.
A few practical examples
