What is Mealenium?

Why is an integration with Mealenium important?
With the link between Mealenium and Zenchef, reservations management runs synchronously.
What does the integration with Mealenium include?
Reservations
- Sending reservations from Zenchef to Mealenium.
- Sending reservations from Mealenium to Zenchef. Reservations will be created in ‘to confirm’ status in Zenchef.
- Changes made for the reservation are synced in both directions: table assignment, number of persons, arrival time.
Statuses
- If a reservation is assigned the status ‘confirmed’ in Mealenium it will also get the ‘confirmed’ status in Zenchef.
- If an order is opened for the reservation on Mealenium, the status of the reservation on Zenchef will change to ‘seated’.
- If the bill has been paid for the reservation on Mealenium, the status of the reservation on Zenchef will change from 'seated' to 'finished'.
Billing details
- After finalizing the bill on Mealenium, Zenchef will retrieve the details of the bill and will save the the average spent on the profile of the guest in Zenchef.
Guest profile
- Only basic information about the guest is displayed on Mealenium: first name, last name, mobile. Guest remarks, tags, reservation remarks, experiences and other info is not being displayed.
Disclaimer
- Synchronisation is done every minute but there is a button to force the synchronisation.
- The seating plan shows reservations for the next hour and a half.
- If you open a breakfast order at 10h30 when there is a reservation on the same table less than 1:30 later, it will update the status of the reservations on Zenchef to ‘seated’.
- There is no synchronisation between both platforms for walk-ins.
- Mealenium doesn’t support Zenchef Pay.
- It’s not possible to assign a reservation to multiple tables via Mealenium.
How do I set up the integration with Mealenium?
To make the integration work properly it is very important that the tables in Mealenium and Zenchef have the same description.
Zenchef
You can activate the integration with Mealenium in your Zenchef environment via settings and the partner tab. You will find the partner under the category 'Point of sales'. Click on the connect button next to the partner.
Mealenium
- The Mealenium team is fully in charge of the installation. Contact support@mealenium.io and provide them your Zenchef restaurantId. You can find this information at the top of this page.
- The Mealenium team will add a specific webhook URL via this page.
