💡 What you need to know

The Multi-Venue Widget is included in the Multi-Venue add-on, which is part of the Grow package. Please ensure your group is on the appropriate plan before getting started.

1. What is the Multi-Venue Widget?

The Multi-Venue Widget is a reservation widget designed for restaurant groups, allowing guests to discover and book across all your venues from a single entry point.

The Multi-Venue Widget lets you showcase all the restaurants in your group on one single booking widget. Rather than directing guests to each restaurant individually, this widget brings your entire portfolio together, making it easier for them to explore your venues, check availability, and complete a reservation wherever suits them best.

This is particularly valuable for groups looking to increase visibility across all their locations and turn their website into a true booking hub.

2. How to set up the Multi-Venue Widget

Follow the steps below to get started:

1. Ensure with your Zenchef Account Manager that your restaurants are linked under the same Group account.

2. Install the Multi-Venue Widget on your group website: Access the widget installation section from this tab of your back office , click on the "Multivenue configuration" and follow the instructions to embed the widget on the relevant page of your group website.

3. Select and order your restaurants: From the restaurant catalog settings , choose which venues to display in the widget and define the order in which they will appear to guests.

4. Customise each venue with a cover image: On that same tab, add a cover image to each restaurant to give guests a visual introduction to your venues before they make their choice.

Once the setup is complete, guests visiting your website will be able to browse all your locations and proceed directly to a reservation from the same booking widget.

5. Apply a brand colour to your widget

You can apply your group's primary colour to the widget from the SDK configuration page:
• Under "SDK configuration", use the Color picker to select your brand colour
• The embed code on the right updates automatically with your data-primary-color attribute
• Copy the updated snippet and share it with your integrator to embed it on your website

Note: when a guest selects a specific restaurant, the widget switches to that restaurant's own configured colour.

6. Show only specific restaurants on a given page

With Custom Restaurant Display, you can control which restaurants appear in the widget on a specific page of your website. From the SDK configuration page :
• Enter the restaurant IDs you want to display in the "Restaurant IDs (optional)" field
• The embed code on the right updates automatically with your data-filter-rids attribute
• Copy the updated snippet and share it with your integrator to embed it on the relevant page

Use a different snippet per page to create tailored views, for example one page per city, one per concept (e.g. your Italian cuisine restaurants alongside your grill restaurants), or one per restaurant type (casual dining vs. gastronomic).
