What is L'Addition?

Why is an integration with L'Addition important?
Zenchef and L'Addition have integrated to allow restaurateurs to centralize their actions and customer information, freeing up time for their core business.
What does the integration with L'Addition include?
We recommend to use Zenchef to manage reservations before and between services and use L'Addition for orders during the service.
- Sending reservations in both directions.
- Synchronisation of walk-ins from Zenchef to L'Addition.
- Updating reservation statuses in both directions.
- Synchronisation of guest profiles in both directions.
- Retrieval of billing information, saving the average spent on the profile of the guest in Zenchef.
Guest is seated at their table:
- If a bill is opened on a table in L'Addition, the reservation on the same table in Zenchef will be marked as ‘seated’.
- If a reservation is marked as ‘seated’ in Zenchef, the reservation will also be marked as present on L'Addition.
Guest is ready to order food and drinks:
- Open the table to on which the reservation has been assigned.
- Open a order for the guest and add the preferred food and drinks.
Guest is ready to pay:
- Open the table to on which the reservation has been assigned
- Submit a payment for the order.
- The status of the reservation on Zenchef will change from 'seated' to 'finished'.
Disclaimer
- The change of a table assignment on L'Addition will not be synced to Zenchef. We advise to assign the reservation to the correct table on Zenchef before opening an order for the reservation on L'Addition.
- Changes made for the reservation (number of persons, arrival time, etc) on L'Addition will not be synced to Zenchef.
- Walk-in reservations are not synced.
- Vouchers and prepayments are not synced.
How do I set up the integration with L'Addition?
To ensure a synchronisation between L'Addition and Zenchef, you must meet the following conditions:
- You must have a permanent and stable Internet connection in your restaurant (your iPad must be connected to the Internet in order to exchange data with Zenchef).
- You must be a customer of L'Addition and Zenchef.
- You must have the L'Addition connection identifiers.
- You must have the Zenchef connection identifiers.
- You must have installed version 3.3.1 or higher of the L'Addition application.
1. Integration procedure on L'Addition
Go to www.laddition.com and log in with your L'Addition credentials. Go to the partner activation tab.
Search for the Zenchef integration and click on the 'Configure' button on the ‘Zenchef’ card.
Then click on the ‘Start configuration’ button.
Then click on the ‘Click here to generate the key’ button.
Once the key has been generated, the L'Addition and Zenchef integration is put on hold. You can copy the key to fill it in on the Zenchef interface.
2. Integration procedure on Zenchef
- Activate the integration with L'Addition in your Zenchef environment via settings and the partner tab. You will find the partner under the category 'Point of sales'.
- Click on the connect button next to the partner, add your partner key into the token field and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
3. Configuration procedure on L'Addition
Once the key has been entered on the Zenchef interface, the connection between the L'Addition and Zenchef is validated.
Go back to partner overview section on L'Addition via www.laddition.com and click on the ‘next step’ button until you reach step 3, where you will be asked to ‘check the link’.
Open the L'Addition application and try to access the ‘Settings/Partner integration’ tab.

If the tab is inaccessible, go to the ‘About’ tab at the bottom of the settings screen and click on the ‘Manual synchronisation’ button. Once synchronisation is complete, close and relaunch the application and access the tab again (if it is still inaccessible, contact L'Addition technical support).

If synchronisation has been set up successful, the ‘Partner integration’ tab will be accessible. Activate the ‘Activate partner modules’ button to finalise the interconnection between the L'Addition system and Zenchef. If there are reservations waiting to be synchronised, L'Addition will retrieve them and insert them into the system.
Then click on the ‘Check connection’ button in step 3.
You will then need to activate the connection with the partner from the application by following all the steps indicated in step 4.
This will take you to step 5, where you will be asked to check the connection:
If you have followed all the previous steps correctly, the Zenchef card should now be activated.
Your reservations are now synchronised between L'Addition and Zenchef.
