4.How to use the integration correctly
This is a one-way connection in which Zenchef receives information from PI Electronique. To ensure everything runs smoothly under these conditions:
In your ZenchefOS you handle:
Welcoming guests and seating them (confirming assigned tables and marking reservations as 'seated')
And on PI Electronique, you can:
Open orders and adjust the number of covers
Manage orders
Close orders
With this, it will be possible in ZenchefOs to:
Record orders that are open on PI Electronique directly
Record changes to the number of covers made in PI Electronique
Track tables/reservations that have requested the bill (when the bill is printed by PI Electronique)
Retrieve the details of what has been consumed and the total bill amount for each reservation
Close reservations immediately and automatically when payment is recorded by PI Electronique
💡for orders from PI Electronique to be correctly matched to your reservations, they should always be marked as “seated” from ZenchefOs first.
5.How to activate the integration
Send your connection request directly to PI Electronique’s customer service and wait for them to confirm it.
Log in to your Zenchef account and open the Zenchef Marketplace: https://app.zenchef.com/zw#/parameters/partners
Find PI Electronique in the list of partners and click Install.
