What you need to know

The presentation text of your restaurant appears on your Zenchef website. It allows visitors to discover your establishment, its atmosphere, cuisine, or story. You can personalise it to match your tone, update it at any time, and translate it if your site is available in multiple languages. It also helps with your website’s search engine optimisation (SEO).

 

1. Edit the presentation text from the web application

You can update the presentation text directly from your Zenchef interface.

  1. Log in to your Zenchef back office.

  2. Go to Settings > General & Team > General Information.

  3. In the Restaurant Presentation section, click Edit and enter the description of your establishment.

  4. If your website is multilingual, click on the language field to enter the translation in other languages.

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

The text will appear on the homepage of your Zenchef website within a few minutes.

 

2. Edit the presentation text from the iOS and Android app

This setting is not yet available in the Zenchef mobile app.
Please access your account from the web application to make this update.

  • My presentation text doesn’t appear on the website
    Make sure you clicked Save after making changes.

  • The translation of my presentation text doesn’t appear.
    Check that you filled in the field for the correct language. Translations must be entered manually and are not generated automatically.

    Click the language field next to the text area and enter your translation. Then click Save.
