What you need to know
You can create different print templates for various use cases (for example, one list for the kitchen, another for reception, etc.). Each template can be customized: displayed information, column sizes, and more. The print list is available in PDF or CSV format. Customizing print templates is not included in all subscription plans.
1. Set up print templates from the web application
Customize print templates
From the Print templates tab, you can edit, duplicate, preview, or delete a template.
- Go to Settings > Service & Reservations > Reservation list > Print templates
- Click New template or select an existing one to edit.
- Give your template a name and choose the document type (PDF or CSV for new templates).
- Customize the content: select the format and statuses you want to print.
- Choose the fields to add to your template. Fields on the right column will appear on your print template.
- Adjust column widths if needed.
- Click Save.
Use print templates
- To print your reservation list, go to the Reservation tab.
- Click the Printer icon at the top right of your screen.
- Select the template you want to print.
- It will open in a new tab.
- Click Print to print the document. Make sure your computer is connected to a printer.
2. Set up print templates from the iOS and Android apps
This feature is not yet available in the Zenchef mobile app. Please log in via the web app to use it.

Common cases
- My list prints as PDF but I want a spreadsheet. The default template is indeed PDF; create your own print template and choose CSV as the format.
- I can’t find the settings tab to customize print templates. Customization is not included in all subscription plans. Contact support for more info.

- Can I create multiple templates? Yes, absolutely—create a template for each of your needs.
- How do I change the fields shown on my print list? You can change them by following the process in section 1 of this article.
