How to use Credit Card Hold on Android

 

Download the Zenchef app on your Android phone.

 

First, please note how to activate the banking imprint.

On your Android app, you can:

  • Request a Credit Card Hold

  • Charge a customer

  • Refund a customer

  • Release a credit card deposit

Request a Credit Card Hold

You can request a Credit Card Hold :

  1. On a new reservation:

  1. On an already ongoing reservation, you have two options:

  • Click on the reservation and then on the "request a credit card guarantee" action.


Charge a customer

You can charge a customer if they meet one of the two options:

  • In case of a no show

It is important to change the status of the customer to no show in order to display the "Charge the customer" action.

 

  • In case of a late cancellation

When the customer cancels within a period less than what you have set, you can "Charge the customer".

Refund a customer

If you charge a customer after a no show, you can always refund the customer with a single click from your Booking notebook.

Release a Credit Card Hold

If you have not made a charge on a reservation associated with a Credit Card Hold, you can always release the customer's deposit with a single click from your Booking notebook
