Unassigned reservations are manual reservations created by staff (phone calls, walk-ins, offline requests) for reservations larger than any table or group of tables can accommodate.
If you are using the “table inventory” feature, these unassigned reservations will block online reservations until resolved.
1. How to access (Web)
• Reservations view: Go to Reservations → find Unassigned Reservations section (red badge shows count)
• Timeline view: Go to Timeline → toggle Unassigned header to show/hide
• Quick access: Click Service Alerts shortcut to jump directly to unassigned reservations
2. How to access (Mobile)
• Go to Reservations or Timeline
• Tap the Unassigned section (red badge shows count)
3. How to resolve
Click/tap an unassigned reservation and assign it to one or several tables. Once assigned, it no longer blocks online reservations for that time period.

• Why does unassigned block online bookings? The system treats an unassigned reservation as “no tables available” during that time. Assigning it resolves this.
• Why is a reservation unassigned? It was created for a group larger than any single table can accommodate.
• Do changes sync across devices? Yes, all changes sync in real time across web and mobile.
