2. Why is integration with Cashpad important?

Thanks to the link between Cashpad and Zenchef, reservation management is synchronized.

3. What does the Cashpad integration include?

Reservations

  • Cashpad imports Zenchef reservations and displays them in its reservation list and floor plan.

  • Notes attached to reservations are also imported.

  • Changes made in Zenchef (arrival time, number of guests, etc.) are visible in Cashpad.

  • When a table is opened in Cashpad, the reservation status in Zenchef changes to “seated.”

Tables

  • If a reservation is moved to another table in Cashpad, this change is not reflected in Zenchef.

  • Customers should be assigned the correct table in Zenchef before opening a bill in Cashpad.

Customer profile

Cashpad displays the following customer info: first name, last name, mobile number, email.

Walk-ins (customers without reservation)

If an order is opened on a table in Cashpad, a “walk-in” is automatically created in Zenchef.

Billing information

  • Once the bill is paid in Cashpad, the Zenchef reservation status changes to “finished.”

  • Order details are added to the Zenchef reservation and average spend is recorded in the customer profile.

Zenchef Pay

  • If a table is activated and items are sent to Cashpad, the bill is retrieved on Zenchef Pay.

  • If a table is paid via Zenchef Pay, it will also be billed in Cashpad.

4. How to set up integration with Cashpad?

Prerequisites

  • Use Cashpad version 2.0.16 or higher.

  • In Cashpad POS settings, check the events to be sent to Zenchef (see example screenshot).

  • Add the token provided by Cashpad and your Zenchef restaurantId in the Zenchef interface section.

In Zenchef

Go to Settings > Partners.

  • In the Zenchef Services section at the top of the page, find Webhook Reservation and click Connect.
    Paste the webhook URL provided by Cashpad, then save.

  • Scroll down to the POS / Payment section, locate Cashpad, and click Connect to activate the integration.

⚠️ Both steps are required for the full Cashpad integration to work properly.

Zenchef Pay setup

  • Obtain your Server and Installation ID by emailing support@cashpad.fr.

  • Once received, in Zenchef:

    • Go to Settings > Pay at Table > POS Software.

    • Select Cashpad.

    • Enter Installation ID and Server.

    • Click Connect.
