What You Need to Know
You can modify a reservation, whether it's confirmed or not. You can update the customer's contact details (name, phone number, etc.) as well as the reservation details (number of guests, time, etc.).
1. Modify a Reservation from the Web Application

Go to the Reservations tab in your Zenchef account.

Click on the relevant reservation, then click on "Edit reservation".

Make the necessary changes.

Click on Save.
2. Modify a Reservation from the iOS and Android App

In your Zenchef app, open the dropdown menu in the top left corner and select the Reservations tab.

Tap the relevant reservation, then click on "Edit reservation".

Tap on "Save".
3. Bonus: Propose a New Time
If you are unable to accept your customer's reservation, you can propose a different time before cancelling.
To do this, use the Propose a new time feature:

Click on the status of the relevant reservation

Click on "Propose a new time".

Enter the new proposed time.

Click on Save.
Your customer will receive a notification asking them to accept or decline the proposed time.

If the customer accepts, the reservation is automatically updated to Confirmed status.

If the customer declines, the reservation status changes to Declined.

If the customer does not respond, the reservation remains in Waiting for client status.
