How do I edit my seating plan?

In this article, you will find the necessary instructions to modify your seating plan in your Zenchef account settings: edit your layout as well as the tables and elements that make it up.

  • Use the drag and drop feature to move tables.

  • Always click Save to confirm your changes.

  • To edit a room: click the pencil icon next to the room name.

  • To edit a table: click directly on the table and modify the desired fields.

  • To move a table: click and drag it to the new position.

  • Click Confirm and then Save.

Common issues

  • Changes are not saved
    Make sure you clicked both Confirm and Save.

  • I can’t move a table
    Only tables in editable rooms can be dragged. Check your room settings.

  • Can I add new rooms or tables from here?
    Yes, you can add them directly via the Areas and Tables screen.

  • Where can I access this on the web?
    Go to Settings > Service & Reservations > Areas and Tables.
