What You Need to Know
Service notes, or "Memos," are used to share important information with your team about services. You can view them directly when adding a reservation, in your calendar view, and on the floor plan. This can include details such as customer preferences, special requests, tasks to be completed, or co-worker absences.
1. Add service notes from the Web Application
Add service notes directly in the web application through the Reservations tab.

In the Web Application, go to the "Reservations" tab.

Click on the Memo icon located at the bottom right of your screen, the blue "+" button:

Define the following elements: the note title, its color, the date range it applies to, and the content of the message you would like to share.

Save the note.

Your memo will be visible on the floor plan and in the reservation list for the specified dates.
2. Add service notes from the iOS App.

Go to the "Reservations" tab in your app.

Click on the floor plan icon at the top right of the screen.

The Memo icon is located at the bottom right of your screen, the blue "+" button:
Click on it.

Define the following elements: the note title, its color, the date range it applies to, and the content of the message you would like to share.

Save the note.

Your memo will be visible on the floor plan and in the reservation list for the specified dates.
3. Add service notes from the Android app.
- Click on the dropdown menu at the top left of your screen. Select the "Memos" tab.
- The Memo icon is located at the bottom right of your screen, it's the blue "Plus" icon.
Click on it.
- Define the following elements: the note title, its color, the date range it applies to, and the content of the message you would like to share.
- Save it.
- Your memo will be visible on the floor plan and in the reservation list for the specified dates.

I can’t find the note I created.
Make sure you have saved the note at the time of creation. Also, ensure you are on the correct date, as the memo will only be visible for that specific date.

The notes added will be visible to all users of your Zenchef account when viewing reservations in real-time on their management interface.

Can guests see service notes?
No, service notes are only accessible by you and your team. They are not visible to guests.
