What you need to know

The review request can be sent automatically after your customers’ visit, depending on your preferences. You can set the sending delay and activate or deactivate this feature at any time.
Only customers who booked via Zenchef will receive this review request.

It is possible to choose the platform where your customers will leave their review. This feature is only available with certain subscription plans.

 

1. Activate review requests from the web application

  1. Log in to your Zenchef interface.

  2. Go to Settings > Marketing & Communication > Customer Notifications.

  3. Set your preferences for the following email types. You can choose when the request will be sent:

    • Review request based on the booking status

    • Review request based on a time period (choose the delay)

    • Whether or not to send a reminder email

  4. Choose the sending method by checking the appropriate boxes (email or SMS).

  5. Save your preferences.

 

2. Activate review requests from the Zenchef iOS app

This setting is not yet available in the Zenchef iOS app. Please access your account via the web application to configure it.

  • The customer didn’t receive a review request
    Check the sending method configured in your account (SMS or email) and ensure you have the correct contact information.

  • My reviews are not visible on my Google listing

FAQs

  • How do I know if I’ve received a Zenchef review?
    You can view all received reviews in the Customer Reviews section of your Zenchef interface.

  • Why do some customers not receive the review request?
    Make sure you have the necessary contact details to send the request. Also, VIP customers do not receive review requests.
