What you need to know

Zenchef allows you to view your reservations simply and intuitively, either via the web app or iOS. You can consult your reservations by filtering by service, by status, or by changing the view (floor plan, timeline, list, or calendar).

1. View your reservations from the web application

Your reservations are centralized in the Reservations tab of your account. It gathers clients who booked through all your channels (Zenchef module, Google Reserve, manual bookings, etc.).
From the web interface, you have several options to manage your reservations. You can filter by service (lunch, dinner), by status (confirmed, canceled, etc.), and choose between different views: floor plan, timeline, list, or calendar. You can also display a summary table of the number of reservations by party size.

Filter your reservations by service

  • In your Reservations tab, at the top of the page, filter your reservations by service. This gives you a clearer view of your floor plan. Click the service name to apply the filter.

Filter your reservations by status

  • The ALL filter lets you see all reservations for the day. You can exclude "canceled" status from your settings.
  • The Pending filter will display only reservations in the "to manage" status.
  • The Upcoming filter will only show "confirmed" reservations. This is useful to track arrivals as clients are marked as "arrived" or "seated".
  • The Service filter displays reservations with "confirmed" and "seated" status.
  • The Other filter gives access to more status filters: Waitlist, No-show, canceled, etc.

The different views in the Reservations tab

  • Floor Plan View shows the reservation list on the left and the floor plan on the right.
  • Timeline View lets you see reservations by table, with a table and a slider showing the time. This is very useful for services with table turnover.
  • List View displays reservations without the floor plan.
  • Calendar View shows the number of covers per service and per date.
  • The summary table: at the bottom of your client list, it summarizes the number of reservations by party size.

2. View your reservations from the iOS and Android app

The Zenchef iOS app lets you view your reservations just like the web version, with filters to organize reservations by service and status. The main differences from the web app:
  • Your reservation list is available via the Reservations tab, by clicking the dropdown menu at the top left.
  • The Home tab shows reservations needing action from you (validation, table assignment, etc.).
  • The Calendar view is also available via the dropdown.
