The Floor plan feature enables you to assign one or several bookings to several tables, but also to assign several reservations to one table.
1. Assign a reservation to a table
To assign a table to a customer, click Floor plan in the menu bar at the left of your dashboard, and pick the customer you would like to seat. On the right, next to the table icon, click to assign. Your room plan will open up so you can choose a table for your customer.
Don't forget to save by clicking confirm. You can remove the table selected for your customer by clicking the red cross.
2. Assign several reservations to a table
If a customer has made a booking for many persons, you can assign several tables to that reservation. Click the name of the customer in the list, and on the right click the table icon and assign a table. You can then select several tables in your room to assign to your customer. For instance, in the example below, I selected 4 tables (N. 17,14,18,15) for one booking.
The tables assigned and their number also appear on the right (and you can remove them by clicking the red cross or the table again).
Don't forget to click Confirm to save the action.
3. Assign several reservations to a table
Finally, you can assign several reservations to one table. To do so, click the name of the customer in the list, and on the right click the table icon and assign a table. Pick up the table and do the same for the other customer.
Example : in the screenshot below, you can see that Heba Zenchef (who booked at 17h00) and Alexia Zenchef (who booked at 18h30) were assigned the same table.
