- What is an experience?
This allows you to offer an experience, a menu, a merchandise item, etc. at the time of booking.
- How to create an experience?
- Go to Settings
- Then go to the Reservations tab
- Click on the Experiences section in the left column.
Settings > Reservations > Experiences
1. Create a new experience
- Click on the "New Experience" button
- Name and describe the experience you want to offer
- Adjust the price of the experience
- Add an image/photo representing the experiment (the format must be square, the display will be in a space of approximately 350px x 350px)
- Click on the "Create" button:
- You can choose to enable prepayment for online reservations.
2. Defining the services and days involved
When you create an experience, you will be taken directly to the relevant SHIFTS AND PERIODS management screen to define the occasion(s) on which you wish to offer it.
- Select the days and/or periods on which you wish to offer this experience.
- Select the services* for which you wish to offer this experience.
- Record the experience to make it available on your booking module.
Manage your experiences by service and even more precisely by time slot:
- Click on the service/slot you want to set up;
- Adjust the desired fields from among the following:
- ➡️ Limit the selection to the number of seats in the reservation
- Example: Prevent a reservation of 2 covers from selecting 3 menus
- ➡️ Require that all guests take the same offer :
- Example: Single menu for the whole table
- ➡️ Limit the stock for this shift
- Example: Only 10 "Table du chef" experiences available per evening
-
➡️ Experience availability
- Example: define the type of booking that can order the experience with min and max pax per booking.
- ➡️ Constrain the selection of the number of experiences per reservation
- Example: No more than 2 "Le livre des recettes du chef" experiences per booking
- ➡️ Limit the number of experiences per slot
- Example: Only 2 "Table du chef" places per slot
- ➡️ Limit to specific rooms
⚠️Pour You must have activated the table stock. If you do not limit the experience to one or more rooms, all rooms will be activated by default. If you limit the experience to one or more rooms and then add new rooms, these will not be automatically activated on the experience.
- ➡️ Limit the selection to the number of seats in the reservation
To manage the stock availability of your experiences by slot, click on "Slot list":
*Don't worry, you'll find all your services on the list, including current and future exceptional services.
**don't worry, your global availability takes precedence over those of your experiences.
3. Creating exceptional service with a dedicated experience 🎅🥂💘
- Create your exceptional service 🔑 How do you open/close bookings exceptionally?
- Create your experience by following the steps in ❇️Chapitre 1: Create a new experience.
- Select your exceptional service by following the steps in ❇️Chapitre 2: Define the services and days concerned.
4. Managing the order in which experiences are displayed
The order of your experiences is reflected in your online booking module. Click and drag available experiences to change their display order.
5. Constraining a service to the selection of an experience
By default, a classic booking option is always offered to your customers on your online booking module.
However, you can choose to remove this option for a specific shift.
- Edit the service concerned (from your services calendar, or for an exception if it is an exceptional service)
- Activate the option "Restrict online booking to the selection of an experience".
The customer will have to select a number of experiences greater than or equal to the number of place settings. Consequently, the classic reservation (without experience) will be impossible.
If no experience is available for this service, it will no longer be available for booking.
7. Restricting experience selection for the entire table
It is possible to force a reservation to select an experience for the entire table (like forcing the choice of a menu, for example).
This option can be combined with other experiences, which may or may not be forced for the entire table (as shown in the example below).
Bonus chapter : Deactivating an experience without deleting it
Need to temporarily remove an experience from your booking module? Would you like to keep the experience settings for next year (Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, etc.)?
It's just a click away!
